Our Early Beginnings
RRR Meat Processing is a family owned and operated business, nestled off the beaten path in Buckley, Michigan just 20 minutes South of Traverse City. Rory and Veva opened the doors in 2001, bringing both of their kids, Ryan and Stephanie, on board just a few years later.
We started small but are now one of the only USDA Inspected Meat Processing Facilities in Northern Lower Michigan.

Policies
- Pork, Lamb and Goat instructions are required to arrive with the animals.
- Beef instructions must be provided to us within 7 days of the animals arrival.
- We DO NOT contact individual customers. It is the responsibility of the owner/farmer to ensure all customer instructions are provided to us, as well as contacting for pick up.
- All animals MUST arrive to our facility by 9am on their scheduled date, or between 3-6pm the evening before.
- All orders are expected to be picked up within 7 days of completion. Without prior arrangements, a $200 storage fee will be added to all invoices. After 30 days orders are subject to be donated to local food pantries with processing fees still being the owners responsibility.
